Top 5 Europa League Betting Sites
Here are my top 5 UK bookmakers🗹 for betting on the Europa League based on their pricing, market range, and other key features that guarantee a top betting experience.
1. Coral – An Abundance of Extras
♚ Coral is a fantastic site for football. You can expect excellent Europa League odds here, because that’s what they’ve been delivering for the sport as a whole consistently.
Even so, I was blown away by all the extras they added to their ample collection of markets.
Bet boosts will surely abound during the knockout stages – in fact, I’d be extremely surprised if they aren’t commonplace. And their competition, offering a chance to win £100 for correctly predicting 4 outcomes (for free),𒁃 couldn’t be a more perfect introduction to this tournament.
🤪 When you consider all this and the general sports betting offers available to use on the Europa League, it’s an astonishing collection of incentives to bet at Coral.
2. bwin – A Favourite for Your Favourite
There’s lots to love about a fantastic all-rounder like bwin. In fact, there’s little I can criticise in terms of the variety and quality of their betting odds or the experience both pre-match and live.
And their promo page has lots of general bonuses – such as bet boost tokens and free bets – that are a perfect way of enhancing your chances of netting big returns on the UEL.
🥀 Moreover, bwin boasts top odds for the total goals in a given period of the game and especially combo bets involving match result and total goals. In fact, bwin offers a 4.5 combined score limit, which few other bookies do, given that the common number of goals in a football match rarely goes over four. As such, you can expect high odds for these markets.
3. 10bet – Ideal for Newcomers
The first thing you’ll likely notice about 10bet is that they look so warm and inviting⛦. Really, I don’t think there’s any bookmaker which has as welcoming an aesthetic.
But they are far from all style and no substance. 10bet manages to balance lots of betting options with a responsive, cleverly designed interface that’s easy to use and understand.
For instance, it would take you two clicks💫 to get to the Europa League from the homepage, with no scrolling required. Once to the left on “Football” from the sports drop down list, and once on “Europa League” from the list of top leagues which is immediately available. There’s rarely any need to search for more than a moment because of its fantastically intuitive design.
And then, once you’ve selected the game, the head-to-head stats🙈 provide win probabilities, previous meeting results, lineups, standings, scoring conversions and much more. So, it’s not just-user friendly in the sense that you can find what you want, but it also helps you make the most of what's laid out for you.
4. The Pools – A Pool Betting and Acca Extraordinaire
With a fantastic selection of football pools for all kinds of events and markets, this is quite simply the optimal choice if you’re interested in pool Europa League betting.
﷽ As a platform, The Pools is generous, easy to use, and accessible (bets start from 25p), offering a fun new way to bet, especially if you’ve never tried it before.
🌟 They are also a dab hand at traditional markets as well, with varied and competitive odds, particularly for the scorer markets. In fact, all scorer markets are listed under a single tab for every player on both teams, which facilitates navigation greatly.
One thing that really impressed me here was their excellent selection of Acca promotionsꦇ, including additional winnings and free bets when you use 2 x £10 accas. The Europa League, with so many fixtures and possibilities, is ideal for acca betting and this sort of promotion.
5. Spreadex – The Best Europa League Spread Betting Site
ಌ One of the coolest things about the Europa League is that there’s the possibility of lots of matchups you wouldn’t normally see. In fact, my predicted final is a fixture which has not taken place since 2005.
This can also mean lopsided contests𝓰 even in the knockout rounds. Spread betting, where your winnings are based on the accuracy of your prediction, are ideal for games where you have confidence in the result.
There are also tons of markets where you don’t need to pick a winner, meaning if your favourites are involved, there’s no conflict of interest. They also happen to be a fantastic fixed odds betting site too, if you want the best of both worlds.
How to Bet on Europa League Online
The process of Europa League betting is immensely easy. While each operator has their own unique characteristics, the way online betting works is largely the same across most platforms. Simply follow these instructions:
Choose a betting operator you think best suits your needs.𒉰 Ensure they are legal, available in your area, cover the Europa League and have payment options which work for you. It’s also a good idea to check out the promotional page to see what’s available there before making your final decision.
Sign up to the site.🤡 This will require you to fill in a simple registration form. It’s all standard information. Things like your name, e-mail address, home address, date of birth. They will also need you to accept the terms and conditions. Some may allow you to sign up using your Facebook or Google Account. If your welcome bonus requires a promo code, this is also very likely where to activate it.
Make a deposit.🐲 Now your account is ready, you should be ready to make a deposit. Choose from the relevant payment methods usually available via your profile, then fill in the relevant details, including the deposit amount and confirm. If you’re interested in a promotion which is attached to your initial deposit/bet, make sure it meets the minimum requirements.
Check out the markets.ౠ Head on over to the football markets and look for international tournaments to find the Europa League if it’s not immediately obvious. Find the game or futures market you are interested in. If interested in a specific game, click on that event to get the full run down of markets. Consider the odds that are available to you.
Look for available promotions.ಌ If you’ve not already got a promotion in mind via a welcome offer, now is the time to check out the bonus page. Keep in mind your initial bet may need to meet a minimum amount to qualify.
Place your bet.ꦗ Once you have found a market that you think provides good value, wager the amount you want to bet. Your returns will be made clear on the bet slip. Confirm your bet, and you’re good to go.
If your bet is successful, you will be able to request a withdrawal via your profile or a banking tab. This will again request some basic information and the amount. While the game is playing out in real time, you might also be able to cash out your bet if you change your mind.
What Are the Most Popular Europa League Betting Markets?
Below, I have compiled a list of some of the most popular markets at the best football betting sitesꩵ that will be available for Europa League betting.
Outright Betting
As you would expect from a large tournament like the Europa League, where teams from across the continent take each other on, there are plenty of exciting outright betting markets to choose from. The overall winner of the tournament is by far the most popular – the earlier you bet on this one, the higher the Europa League betting odds and the greater your potential payout will be.
If you want to go for something less risky, the Name the Semi-Finalists market could also be a lucrative option to go for; if you want to bet on each successive round, you can do just that with Europa League Odds to Qualify.
Both Teams to Score
Both Teams to Score is a reliable Europa League betting market. Statistics show that between 2016 and 2021, 51% of Europa League matches have seen both teams get on the scoresheet. Conversely, only 7%🐭 of matches in this same period have finished without a goal.
Accumulator Betting
Unlike the Champions League, where fixtures are spread over a period of days or weeks, in the Europa League, all matches in each round take place on the same night. All these games leave punters spoiled for choice when creating their ideal accumulator bet,🐎 so it is no wonder that this type of bet is so popular for this particular tournament.
You should also keep in mind that, just like in the UCL, the Europa League has a high home advantage, with home teams having won 47.5%ღ of their matches at home between 2016 and 2021. This is greater than all other top European domestic leagues.
Betting on More Goals
🌠 In the past few years, the number of goals per match in the Europa League fixtures has started to rise. From a statistical point of view, it’s just behind its big brother, which has a very high goal-per-match ratio.
In fact, the Europa League was one of the highest-scoring competitions in the top leagues of Europe during the 2020/21 campaign – second only to the Italian Serie A, with the average of goals per match sitting at three.
Furthermore, over 50% of the matches played saw more than 2.5 goals being scored. This number drops to 35% when it comes to having at least four goals scored in a match, but rises significantly to 80% for two or more goals. For this reason, betting on more goals in the Europa League betting markets might prove to be a safer and more reliable option.
2023/24 Europa League Betting Odds*
These are 2023/24 Europa League winner odds* for six of the favourites at the time of writing. Do note these Europa League betting odds are subject to change based on performances and results in and out of the Europa League, with other markets for teams with longer Europa League odds to win also available. These bookmakers are also great for betting on the Europa Conference League and the Champions League.
2023/24 Europa League Betting Tips & Predictions
Europa League betting predictions are incredibly tough to get right. That said, we do think there’s some strong market opportunities on the horizon.
🦹 With that in mind, here are my Europe League betting tips and predictions based on what's taken place so far.
Prediction 1
Liverpool vs Bayer 04 Leverkusen to be Final – Few teams have come close to the consistency of England’s premier scouse squad and Leverkusen’s Black and Reds.
💛 Liverpool have proven themselves largely harmonious across the field. Scoring high while conceding minimally on many occasions. Take, for instance, their 4-0 triumph over LASK and 2-0 victories over Royale Union SG as examples.
They do appear to have a defensive advantage at home🔯, which is where most of their clean sheets come from, but they’ve proven here and in the Premier League that they can also perform spectacularly away.
🅠 Take their victories over Crystal Palace and Sheffield United, as well as a gutsy draw against Man City in enemy territory this Premier League season, for instance. Consistently, except for one notable wobble against Toulouse, defensive strength balanced with plenty of attacking firepower and steady nerves under pressure have made Liverpool one to beat in the Europa League.
But they have been beaten. Which right now cannot be said about Bayer 04 Leverkusen, who arrive to the knockout stages undefeated in Group H♏. They also did so, largely with ease. One of the things which makes Leverkusen so dangerous is they don’t take the foot off the gas when under pressure. Take for instance, their sublime 5-1 win over Qarabag, a showcase of their versatile scoring options. Wirtz, Grimaldo, Boniface, and Tapsoba all scored having refused to let an equaliser dampen their spirits. Furthermore, they appear resilient to the home advantage, beating Hacken and Molde convincingly away.
Prediction 2
Bayer to Become Champions▨ – Although they are close according to most bookmakers, Liverpool are the favourites in Europa League outright betting. I disagree.
🍌 Liverpool have had an astounding year with an excellent Premier League season and only a shock loss to Toulouse to mar their international efforts so far. The sort of small weaknesses you’d expect from any team, even the very best.
ꦡ Unfortunately for The Reds, Leverkusen have been, in my opinion, even better. They’ve torn through Group H lead a hot knife through buttered toast with only a few crumbs of conceded goals to note. This is backed by an astonishing domestic season, with Victor Boniface providing ample firepower to take on any team Europe can dish up.
Prediction 3
Mo Salah as top goalscorer – While I believe Bayer will defy most Europa League odds and emerge Europa League champions, I don’t think there’s a single player on their squad as effective as Mohamed Salah.
He didn’t race ahead during the group stages, admittedly. But consider his track record. He’s scored 200 goals across 327 games for Liverpool. He’s been even better in European competition, with 41 goals across 64 games in the Champions League alone.
Put it this way, at the top flight of international European football, he was much more likely than not to score every single time he stepped on the field💃. In the Europa League with one of the best teams in the Premier League behind him on quality form, I simply think it’s a matter of time before Mo makes his way to the top of the Europa League goal scoring leaderboard and stays there.
Tip 1
Use multiple bookmakers🌠 – Notice anything about the Europa League winner odds? The top options all come from different bookmakers.
There’s nothing stopping you from signing up to multiple bookmakers to maximise your potential winnings. This is further enhanced by the fact that different bookmakers have their own promotions, letting you take advantage of as many as you want so long as you stay within the terms and conditions. That means access to more free bets, enhanced odds promotions, acca promotions and more – especially on a big event like the UEFA Europa League, which attracts so many casual punters.
Tip 2
Check out our stats page – ThePuntersPage boasts one of the most comprehensive Europa League statistics♏ pages out there. I used it to help inform every one of my predictions and I think it’s one of the greatest resources on the net for anyone who wants to make the smartest possible Europa League betting picks.
🌳 You’ll have access to not just all the important info related to current standings, but also player stats, team stats and different streaks and trends to provide on overview of the form of every team in the league. It actually introduced me to a whole set of new Europa League favourites, and I’ve been following every group like a footie mad hawk. Absolutely essential.
Tip 3
Don’t let your heart rule your head – If you are keen on dropping a few quid on your personal favourites and hoping for the best, then go for it.
🅠 However, if you’re trying to obtain the optimal chances of winning decent returns, it might not be the best route. Try thinking as objectively you can about the likelihood of your bet being correct, rather than what you would like to happen.
And if you just can’t, if your top team is playing and you couldn’t bear betting against them, I recommend checking out handicap markets to even the playing field.
INFO
Please note that all of my tips and predictions are just that, my opinion. None of these can guarantee you’ll win anything, so never bet more than you can afford, and always bet responsibly.

How Is the Europa League Structured?
The Europa League is a second tier pan-European football competition organised by UEFA. The tournament is structured very similarly to the Champions League, except that there are more teams involved and, as a result, there is one extra knockout round𒅌. Teams qualify for the group stages depending on where they finish in their respective leagues or domestic cup competitions.
The number of teams that are able to qualify for the Europa League depends on each qualifying league’s coefficient. In the bigger leagues, for example, the top 🅘two or three teams which finish outside of the Champions League qualifying spots will earn a place in the Europa League. In England, the winner of the FA Cup will also earn a spot in the tournament (if they haven’t already qualified via the UCL or the UEL through the league route).
💖 To put it in more simple terms, the following qualify for the Europa League:
-
Winners of the UEFA Conference League (unless they qualified to the group stages of the Champions League
-
37 teams relegated from the Champions League
-
Two teams from associations 1-5
-
A team from associations 6-7 and 9-15
Group Stage
The Group Stages, which is where the proper competition starts, consist of 32 teams split into 8 groups of 4 teams each🐽. Teams in the same group play each other twice (once at home and once away from home). The top team from each group advances directly to the Round of 16, while the second-placed teams will face a playoff round against the teams coming into the Europa League after finishing third in their Champions League group.
The teams who finish in third place in the Group Stage join the Europa Conference League, while those who finish last are eliminated.
Playoff Round
What is unique to the Europa League is that after the Group Stages, the eight Champions League teams that finished third in their respective groups join the competition.😼 This adds both drama and excitement, as there are always one or two big teams who under-perform in the UCL and suddenly become the squad to avoid in the UEL.
Rather than a Round of 32, though, a playoff round to qualify for the Round of 16 will take place. For this playoff round, teams are split into two pots of 8 teams each🌌 – the teams finishing second in their UEL groups in one pot and the sides coming from the UCL in the other. The fixtures are decided by a draw, and teams will face each other home and away in a two-legged knock-out affair.
💝 No team can face another team from the same national association at this point.
Round of 16
ꦦ Winners from the playoff round will proceed to the Round of 16 where another draw will take place. Teams are split into two pots again, with those who won their UEL group seeded against the sides who won their playoff fixture.
ౠ In this round, teams from the same national association cannot be drawn against each other. The UEL Group Stage winners will play the second leg at home.
Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final
🌊 The final draw will be for the Quarter-Finals, where the eight remaining teams will randomly be picked and sorted. At this stage, teams from the same national association can be drawn against each other. The Semi-Finals will also be drawn on that same night, so those squads who won their Quarter-Finals will find out who they could be facing.
𝔍 The knockout round will then continue until there are only two remaining teams, who will go on to face each other in the Final for the title of Europa League winners. The winner of the whole thing is who you will be betting on with Europa League betting outright markets.
History of the Tournament
The Europa League made its debut back in 1971 when it was called the UEFA Cupജ. Since its inaugural season, the format of the tournament has remained relatively the same, with only minor changes being made on occasion. In the 2009/10 season, the UEFA Cup rebranded to become the Europa League as we know it today.
🌞 One of the most significant changes to the competition, however, came in 2014/15, when it was ruled that the winner of the Europa League would automatically qualify for the Champions League. This added a new sense of urgency and motivation for those taking part, especially the top teams, who found themselves in the Europa League having struggled in their respective leagues.
In total, the competition has been won by 29 different clubs, with Sevilla the most successful, having won the title on seven occasions. They are also the most recent winners having triumphed over Roma in a penalty shootout in last season’s final. The change to the rules regarding automatic qualification for the 2023/24 Champions League seasonꦍ means we are guaranteed a new champion this year.

꧟ Europe’s second-tier football competition may not be as popular with neutral supporters as the Champions League, but make no mistake, the Europa League has its own share of triumphs and turmoil.
As a greater number of teams are starting to face up against and challenge the traditional giants in the domestic leagues, more and more top clubs are ending up in the UEL. The competition is a great spectacle, one which presents countless exciting betting opportunities, and which should definitely not be overlooked.
Europa League Betting FAQs
ꦅUK viewers can enjoy Europa League matches live on TNT Sports.
The 2024 Europa League final will take place on the 22nd May, 2024.
꧟The 2024 Europa League final is being held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
🧸In total, 58 teams take part in this tournament. By the time the Europa League group stages have been reached, this is narrowed to 32 teams. The eight winners of the group stages go straight through to the round of 16 alongside eight winners of the playoff knockout round. At this point, this becomes a straight knockout tournament, with the field narrowing from 16 to eight, four, two and then one eventual winner.
🅘The third-placed Champions League teams join the Europa League for the playoff knockout round.
𓄧There are plenty of great betting sites that you can use to bet on the Europa League. Some of my favourites include Coral, bwin, 10bet, The Pools and Spreadex. But the best site is any quality sportsbook which you enjoy the most.
